You are welcome to "come as you are" to Open Door, whether you are a long time follower of Jesus or feel very far from God. We've found that such an atmosphere of acceptance allows people to be themselves, so we can be honest before God, and grow together in faith and friendship in an authentic way.
Though our teaching is based on the Bible and relevant to daily life, we place a strong emphasis on not simply talking about God, but experiencing his presence. This happens especially during times of worship and while praying for one another, allowing room for God to speak and work among us through the Holy Spirit. Through this experience of God's presence, Open Door is a place where God and people meet.
If you're already a follower of Jesus Christ, you'll find helpful instruction and encouragement, friendships, opportunities for growth in God and service to people. If you're new to all this, you 'll find an opportunity to learn about Jesus and Christianity, and see what it's like to connect with him, to decide if what we're saying is true.
