Open Door Vineyard Christian Fellowship was a church plant from The Vineyard Church, Rockville Centre, NY. The initial team of about a dozen people included Senior Pastor Lois Nash and her husband Paul, who is the Youth & Children's Pastor. We launched Sunday services in February, 2000.
We're particularly proud of the fact that our church's request for admission into the Association of Vineyard Churches (AVC) was instrumental in the acceptance of women senior pastors and church planters in our movement.
Ours is a small, healthy congregation, characterized by a high degree of mutual love and trust, and a warm welcome to all who come through our doors. We're big on practicing the gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy and other revelatory gifts, and we encourage everyone to grow in their gifts and faith. Come visit us!
